Care & Use
Sharpen soft grades with a blade rather than a rotary sharpener — the softer the core, the more often it snaps inside a barrel sharpener. Keep the set in a case or a roll; a dropped pencil breaks the core along its whole length even when the wood looks fine, and it will then break at every sharpening.
