Care & Use
Soft cores break easily if dropped — keep them in the tray rather than a jar. Sharpen with a blade or a hand sharpener with a sharp blade; a blunt sharpener chews a soft core rather than cutting it. Metallic pencils read clearly on darker or toned paper and almost disappear on white.
