Twelve grades from 6B to 4H, which is a finer ladder than the usual six-pencil set. The extra steps matter once you are shading seriously: the jump from 2B to 6B is a big one, and having 3B and 4B in between lets a tone build gradually rather than in blocks.

Care & Use
Keep the pencils in grade order in the tin so you can reach for a grade without reading every barrel. Soft grades smudge against a facing page — slip a sheet of clean paper over a finished drawing before closing the sketchbook. Sharpen the B grades with a blade for a longer point.
